I trade: Galchenyuk/Johns
I receive: J. Faulk, J. Schultz
Offer 2
I trade: Trouba/Johns/Vesey
I receive: Faulk/Schultz
On the surface, I think offer 1 is better, but it just leaves me SO thin at LW. I would be starting Ehlers, E. Kane, Johansson and Vesey.. Would not love that..
Offer 2 isn't bad either but I'm really high on Trouba, although I did grab Morrissey incase one of those guys establishes himself as a stud.
Should I take one of the deals? Sit tight and don't take any?
This would obviously load me up on D, but then i would have a goldmine and be able to trade them off for assets to help me, like at center and LW.

Of these two offers I prefer offer 2 but standing pat wouldn't be that bad either. I would bet you have a middle of the road team, I would keep Barkov, Ehlers, Marner, Karlsson, Gostisbehere, Murray and Andersen and be willing to move anyone else to try and upgrade to improve long term, I think you have a nice base there.

For his: Faulk/Schultz/Fischer(who I really like I don't know quite why)
I think trouba is actually the best piece of the deal, but Faulk/Schultz are clearly the 2nd and 3rd best and Fischer COULD be fourth best..
Does this help me long term?
Schultz is only 27, Faulk is 25, Fischer is a prospect.
I like Johns for multi category and Vesey I'm whatever on.
