I'd take the guy who will be playing the PP with McDavid. Moses I'm pretty sure you were the only one who predicted 70+ pts for Draisaitl before last season which was awesome.Originally Posted by Moses

Would be interesting to see if we had a vote similar to the defence that I have going would go ... might do one for goalies down the road

I'd reluctantly take Tavares. Draisaitl could experience some growing pains shuffling from his own line to McDavid's line could affect the young stud's point totals this year.

Draisaitl looks better and better each year, yet still I come back to the idea that Tavares' production is less situationally-dependent. Plus, with Tavares' UFA status looming he'll either get to go to a new team where he'll most likely be in a better spot, or he'll agree to stay with the Islanders if they improve - a win-win however you look at it.

Close, but I would take Tavares. I think they both have the same upside, but Tavares is the safer play.
