all in the regular draft, and after our 10 keepers each. The remaining available players are in the pool for that draft goes along the lines of Keller, Boeser, McAvoy, Chabot, Chispachov, Strome, DeAngelo and so on. It includes basically every prospects ready to jump in the league this year...

He gives me;

Patrick Laine
Mitch Marner

but he gives me back Tavares at the draft because of our 10 keepers for a late draft pick...

What is the feeling around that?

I feel that weird about it because it would be not until the 4th round of that draft that I would be able to had players in the like of Keller and so on.

Not sure I get it. You get Laine and Marner for picks and Tavares, but you are getting Tavares back anyway? If that's the case, you do this one quickly and never look back. But I am not sure about the details of this deal? Can you sum up a best case and a worst case scenario of who would the picks turn out to be?

I think this trade is a win for you (Laine and Marner are much more valuable than those picks), but your league may see as collusion if he just sends you Tavares back for free.

I would loose all the prospects for the first three rounds... And yes he gets Tavares and gives it back to me because of the 10 keepers that I have. The two, Laine and Marner, won't fit in my keepers...

Why is Tavares even part of this deal? Why wouldn't you just move the 3 picks for Marner or Laine before the draft and then get the other after?

my keepers as as of today are;

Eichel, Seguin, Kessel, Tavares, Tkachuk, Letang, Werenski, OEM, Matt Murray, Andersen.

We started last year without a minors bank so the prospects are available but we must put them in the regular lineup. So if I make the trade, I'm drafting my first player in the 4th round (regular draft)

I would say that if there is a trade where a player is sent to one team to make things happen but then is traded back... I would suggest this is circumvention and I would not allow it. Just looks bad to me!

Because we must have 10 players on September 1st and all the others go for the draft on September 22nd, so if I keep Laine and Marner, I won't be a Len to keep Tavares...

I have a side deal to for Tkachuk, and we swap our picks; 4th round pick (2nd of the round) for my 10th round (2nd of the round too)
