whats the expectations on him for the future? He is in free agents in a 14 team, 24 player roster, top 12 forwards top 4 d top 1 goalie league. Wondering if he's worth a pickup come draft time.

How does he compare to a player like Kyle Connor?

Not as offensively talented as Connor but a solid young player. Not sure how many points he'll get this year, though. It could be 20 or it could be 40.

Thanks Jouko-Pouko, you've been a lot of help when it comes to prospects.

I prefer Connor's upside vs Perlini.

I also prefer Connor's history in comparison to Perlini.

If you can get Connor, then I'd take him over Perlini. However, I think Perlini could be a fantastic sneaky pick in a deep league, and eventually net his fantasy owner 45-50 points a season, especially if he clicks with one of Arizona's many young, budding stars.

In this league I tried to get Connor buy the owner had no interest in moving him. I'm just hoping he is not part of his keep 19 and that he is part of his drop 5. I doubt he drops him but I can hope for now. Still lots of productive forwards in free agents though so I'm not worried. Dadonov, Shipachev, Zaitsev ect. Am in win now mode so might have to take someone over Perlini in this league but just wanted to get an idea of how you guys project him for next season because I know very little of him so far. Thanks again gentlemen

I think Perlini has an inside shot at top 6 minutes with Arizona. If he continues to finish off plays I don't see how Connor out points him THIS year.
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.

I imagine Keller and Perlini might be a good pairing on a line. One is a very good sniper, the other is a very good playmaker. Be interesting if they put them on the same line.
