Can you keep an amount in between?
If so I would keep 4 players... I would keep Eichel, Stamkos, OEL and Murray.
Keeper League has 12 teams, Each team can keep a minimum of 3 and maximum 6 players. I finished at the bottom the last 2 years due to injuries. I will be picking 2nd overall this year for the first 3 rounds (First 3 rounds is not snake) if I were to keep 3 players.
The players I want to keep
Jack Eichel
Steven Stamkos
OEL
Rasmus Ristolainen
Matt Murray
Jonathan Quick
Should I keep 3 or 6?
Who to keep?
The categories are:

Goalies
W:4 SO:2 OTL: 1.75 Saves: 0.1 GA: -0.5

19 D keeper
19 G keeper

I imagine if you keep 4, you surrender your 1st round pick. If you keep 5, surrender 1st and 2nd? What are your categories?
Think it comes down to what you expect other teams to do. I would keep Stamkos, Eichel and Murray and then decide on the others based on what you'd expect to be available when you draft.
Keep all 6! That's a good group of players

This feels like it is explained really poorly, but I don't think OEL, Risto, or Quick are worth the 2nd overall in a keep 3-6 draft, so I would keep Eichel, Stamkos, and Murray.
We need some information here.
1. What do you lose for additional keepers? I'll assume its your 1st/2nd/3rd round pick.
2. What are the categories?
3. How many goalies are/are typically kept?
So you keep 3 automatically. Assuming keeping 4 costs you your 1st round (2nd overall pick). We have to figure out that pick's value.
Worst case scenario is 9 guys keep 6 = 54 + 3 from you = 57 players kept.
So is your 4th keeper worth more than the 57th best player in the league? Without knowing categories its impossible to tell.
If it's me I'm keeping Eichel and Stamkos for sure (barring bizarre scoring). Then I'm thinking long and hard about keeping Murray in most formats.
OEL is probably better than the 57th best available player so I'm keeping him as well. Rasto is again probably better than the 57th/67th best player.
Quick I'm not a huge fan.
However, if there's a chance that a stud in the 30th range re-enters the draft pool then keeping 3 players and having the first 3 picks in the draft could be pretty attractive as well.
In sum, how does your league work? I'm likely keeping Eichel, Stamkos, OEL, Rasto and Murray.

The defense bonus is cool, but I'm definitely going Eichel, Stamkos, Murray.
Worst case scenario, you could get OEL or Risto back at 1.02 if there isn't anything better. I think their will be.
