I dont ever recall Hall being referred to as "generational". The same for Tyler Seguin, who Hall "battled" for that top overall pick.

I am not sure where you ever heard/read that, but I can honestly say I don't ever remember it.

i actually do- not like Mcdavid/Crosby/AO but he had TONS of hype. His reckless style made for uber highlight reel plays and people were getting nutty. At this point Seguin is a fantasy beast wheras Hall has been relegated to a second tier "meh" type of guy. I still feel like theres another gear here personally...

When you are the 1st overall pick, you will undoubtedly be hyped. Usually for good reasons too.

What are you expecting production wise from him this upcoming season? Jersey will obviously be more talented, with the additions of Hischier and Johansson, and growth of Zacha. I realize he is basically a lock to miss 10 games, so something like 25-30 goals, 30-35 assists in 70 ish games?

I'm expecting around 65 points from him.

Last season we seen his floor, his upside is PPG. NJ is a slowly improving team and Hall is going to be the main cog in that offense. It's a great time to buy him if you can, but I certainly wouldn't be selling.

He's my 2 yr keeper going into the season, so when it comes time to move him, I should be able to get a lot. Will just be a matter of figuring out the best time to do so. It can be risky to wait until the off-season after a guy expires in case you get low balled, but more than likely there will be other expiring keepers, or a young gun on the upswing that I can trade for, along with picks. Will cross that bridge when I get there!

They already will have better talent in 17/18, and he put up in the 50s last year.
