Default Top 5 D after Karlsson and Burns...

Curious to know what's your top 5 D for straight points (G&A) after Karlsson and Burns for a keeper league.
Josi, Hedman, Klingberg, Shattenkirk, Subban are all to consider.
    Hard time ranking them.
Feel free to add/remove players if you think there are other candidates.
    Thanks guys.

    Hedman, easily.

Subban & Josi (Nashville is stacked)

Still productive but aging guys like Keith, Letang and Byfuglien (Buff is a level above if we are talking multicat leagues) and guys like Hamilton, Klingberg, Carlson, OEL and Shattenkirk are on the third tier here because of situation or lack of defensive prowess (meh +/- stats).

    Bottleneckers (12/16 in 2022)
    16 team, points only. G: 2-W, 4-SO.
    Top 9F, 4D & 1G . Keep 15, Max 23

    D: Bouchard, McAvoy, Morrissey, Heiskanen

In a points only league, I think Josi's production will regress a bit since I think it will be spread between PK, Josi and Ellis....since the OP asked about straight points league, I think guys like Buff, Keith, OEL could surpass Nashville D's numbers....my 2 cents

Do you guys think Hedman is that clear cut going forward? Clearly last season he was on another level, but it is certain he stays up there offensively? He'd have to keep a higher shooting % and keep the PPP at that level. Not saying I disagree, more I want some input

The Montour part was a joke but the other three were not. Pietrangelo had 18 points in the last 20 games of the regular season last year. The last quarter of the season was the same time that Shattenkirk was no longer on the Blues. I think Pietrangelo scores at that pace for the upcoming season which would put him at 60+ points which should be 3rd in the NHL for dmen scoring. The other two are proven offensive talents.
