I see him staying put with NYI. But barring an injury, or the highly unlikely event that he steals the starter job, he'll probably play 25-35 games maximum and then will be KHL bound once he's a UFA next summer.

I think he will find himself moved elsewhere but it might not happen until mid season when some team is looking for an injury replacement.
