True, but shatty will be on top pair with mcd....... and when you have 4 lines that can score there could be much more points out there to get. It's not like he'll be wasting shifts while being on while the 4th line is on, or an average 3 Rd line. 4 lines that can score means much more opportunities while on ice for him. And he'll be the guy on pp.

When yandle was there nyr didn't have 4 solid lines. Didn't have BUCHNEVICH, grabner, Vesey, zibanejad. So ya, exactly the same lol

Yandle split PP1 time with McD if I recall. And he had just 41 pts last yr with Florida.. so if Yandle can do 47pts on rangers from 2 years ago, I think Shatty is primed for 50-60 pts on a younger faster exciting Rangers

And yandle was 2nd pairing. Mcd played with girardi. Yandle played with staal and Klein more. Shatty will be with mcd on top pairing
