Happy Canada Day

[The Bottlenecker]

A very special "eh" to all the Canadian Dobberites today as we celebrate Canada's 150th birthday. Get out there and show your fellow Canadians how much you love this country by proudly displaying a flag on your car, a red and white painted face, or by visiting one of the many celebrations going on.

To put a hockey twist on it, I'm asking you to come up with an All-Canadian hockey team. Here are the rules:
You must select one current hockey player from each of the 7 Canadian teams. Only one.
That player must be Canadian.
You must have at least three forwards, two defensemen, and a goalie. The seventh player is a utility player from any position.
There are no winners, just great Canadian teams. Here is my entry:

D: Hamilton (Calgary), Phaneuf (Ottawa)
G: Price (Montreal)
U: Horvat (Vancouver)

For those who watched the Blue Jays game today, I was one of the military members who pulled out the huge Canadian Flag this afternoon. Awesome experience. That and I also got to meet Don Cherry, which was equally as awesome I must say.

Oh ya. Great seats right behind Bautista in RF. Front row, section 105. We were literally right over the Red Sox's BP. I even made the TV broadcast. It helps being a Navy guy wearing your full white uniform I'm sure. They caught me as I was drinking my Keiths LOL! I had a bunch of people message me during the game saying they saw me on TV.

am watching the highlights here, they show the canadian flag being rolled out and there must be about 25 white navy suits out there. that must have been awesome
