Does he break out next season?

I think he's good for 80-90 next year and moving forward. Assuming good health I think his floor is mid 70's and ceiling is right around 100.

he finished 11th in pt/gm last year league wide... without injury, he would have been top 10. 85-90 would be my guess... Get comfy, that's going to be his baseline moving forward.

75-80 pts is my guess. am going to have him high on my lists for next season (top 10 for sure), such a fun player to watch too

This is going to be his year. I see massive things from him coming up. Wouldn't be surprised to see him #2 in scoring behind McDavid this upcoming season. He's that good.

Another thing to consider is some were saying he wasn't feeling quite 100% when he initially returned but still was producing at a high level. If only he didn't get hurt he would be top 5 in scoring.

Exactly. There is a reason this kid was being discussed alongside McDavid. Sure, there is some hype there to try and build up the draft excitement but he has a real chip on his shoulder right now and should come out just ripping things up next season.

the kid is a winner at heart too. i like how pissed he was at the end of the year when they got eliminated. the face of usa hockey which is at it's best as it has ever been. just hope he doesnt drive the coach out of town lol

He probably hand picked the coach from a list that was given to him in the offseason so I think the coach is safe
