They don't have a ton of guys locked up long term so they make take their time before picking anyone. I can't vouch for their leadership but Smith and Eakin are two guys who should be around for awhile (I say that now, watch them flip they both on the draft floor lol).

I like Engelland as the home town fav, but it could very easily be someone not on the roster yet. Let's get into mid-July and see what trades bring in and out before looking at who's likely to be El Capitano.

Vegas should sign Shane Doan just to piss off Arizona and make him Captain. That would all but guarantee the games in Arizona would be hyped.

Two options:

1) they go without a captain for a year or two.
2) they name Fleury the captain, and we all know how that went in Vancouver. so likely no captain.
