The canceled goal was pathetic, but unfortunately the ref ****ed up. Wasn't really debatable.

So with 3 cups, where do these Pens rank in terms of the NHL's greatest all time teams? Have they done enough to surpass the Hawks?

dont know about comparing them to Chicago but you can't lump in 2009 cup with 2016 and 2017. Completely different teams

I'm sad to see the big party that is Smashville turn so ugly in defeat. Embarrassed for them chanting "Pens you suck", and throwing garbage at the players (Hornqvist) at games end. Any respect I gave that fan base for their spirit just got flushed down the toilet. Too bad.

At least we can stop with the Nashville circle jerk now. Nobody will care about them next year

I mean, if you put it that way then the whole thing is just luck. You can attribute every win and every draft pick to luck if you really want. They were fortunate to get a series of good draft picks, but they weren't the only team to be lucky in that way. It's no guarantee of this kind of success, that's for sure.

When the players you get are Lemieux, Jagr and Crosby , followed by Malkin, it pretty much guarantees this kind of success. No other team in history has been so lucky to be gifted generational players. Nothing they can do about it , it happened, it's just unfortunate to see. Especially now, with the same team winning cups every year. Almost as bad as NBA. It's just depressing for other teams who have to work hard to win. Congrats to Pittsburgh, but nobody wants to see them win anymore. Nobody wants to see that fanbase be happy. Incompetence rewarded.

Matt Murray back to back Stanley Cup Championships, both as a rookie.

So quick on that whistle. I can't get over how the officiating has controlled big pieces of these games! Ah well. Nice to see Hainsey lift it, and Cullen again.

Jagr was the 5th overall pick. How is that a gift??? It was also something like 27 years ago...

They are the first team to win back-to-back cups since 1998, so essentially you are just making yourself sound stupid and bitter.
