I just checked Dobber's Top 300, and I traded the list's #3 keeper for the #4 keeper. I still agree with you all that Kane is better right now, but I'm thinking it was worth the drop to get a guy 6 years younger. Thanks for all the input though! I *ALMOST* always listen to what you guys tell me, haha.

It's a gamble for sure. Having Stamkos back should help at even strength but it'll probably hurt Kuch on the PP. Overall it might be a wash while nothing really changes at all for Kane.

I'd be much less worried about the KHL flight risk too than I was a month or two ago. Kuch had a chance to go last summer, add to that the low value of the ruble, players not getting paid, teams being folded, and all the KHLers who have come over to the NHL in the past month despite it hurting their chance at Olympic play. The KHL has lost a lot of pull.

Much too early to say imo. He has played 213 out of the last possible 328 regular season games (65%). He has 5 seasons on record in which he didn't miss a single game (most recently 2014-15), and played 77 games in 2015-16. So apart from fluky injuries in 2 of his 9 professional seasons he has basically been a model of good health.

Have his recent injuries wiped that all away? Possibly. Look at Crosby though as an example of a guy who suddenly looked completely unable to stay healthy. He only played 63 games out of 164 in 2010-11 and 2011-12 (38%), and since then he has put together 4 seasons out of 5 where he played at least 90% of games.

Stammer is a buy-low right now because of the popular perception that he is extremely injury prone. If he has another serious injury this year then I would say that perception becomes fully warranted, but if he plays 70+ games this year then he should way outperform his draft spot and I think the narrative that he is injury prone starts to fade away from that point forward.

I've dangled Kane for Kucherov in my league but got shot down because the Kucherov owner is a really young team so Kaner doesn't exactly fit his window.

The value is spot on IMO.
