ban both as long as the bans happen to others as well.

Let's be clear here kids, we don't ban people because 'we're pretty sure' we should. We do it when we are certain. That benefit of the doubt is applied to everyone. (having to un-ban someone due to an error is not a road we want to go down, right?)

We also have ways beyond just posting language to check these things. If you have a concern, pm a mod or report a post and we will look into. We do look into these things and monitor them, but we do not break out the ban hammer willy nilly...

I have no issue with any team playing the trap or 1-3-1 or whatever you want to call it. The Ottawa Senators aren't obliged to entertain anyone but their fans. Winning soothes everything for fans. Just win baby. I prefer to watch the Oilers or Nashville because they are fast and exciting to watch, but if your team doesn't have the assets to keep up with faster or more talented teams, what should you do? Try to play their game with less talented players and hope to win the series? Go Sens!

I guess everyone forgot the series is just 2-1.

Yes, lots of hockey to play yet. If it were the Flyers, I'd be very happy for them to play whatever style they need to in order to win. There's only two brands of hockey in my books. Winning style and losing style.

    Absolutely.

I actually love the narrative that the Sens are playing out right now. A team that (correct me if I'm wrong), doesn't spend to the cap. A coach trying to make the best situation out of what was provided to him. I was chatting with some friends a couple weeks ago about how when you look at this Senators team, it's really full of a bunch of cast offs which makes what they've been able to accomplish so much more impressive. This team has picked up guys like Phaneuf, Turris, Burrows, Anderson, MacArthur - guys who most people laughed about (including myself) when they acquired them.

I would love to see the Senators win the cup this year personally. State of the game be damned. Karlsson is too good of a player to go his entire career without a cup. I want to see Anderson and MacArthur hoisting that cup after the personal struggles they've been through. I want to see Burrows finally get his name on the cup as it should have been back in 2010.

The mind games are one of the best aspects of playoff hockey.

I concur... and to be honest... I love seeing star players get off their games because of the mind games. I like to determine which stars can not let the mind games effect them and which ones do.

I loved the series between Philly and Pitts a few years back.
