These are not drop worthy players - you need to find a trade.

Pulock and Nylander are in the lower tier of this great list. However, as lucafen said, you can't just drop this type of talent; im sure there has to be a taker.

    To rank them I'd say:

    Patrick
    Strome/Keller/Hischier
    Dubois
    Jost
    Pulock
    Nylander
Keeper league 14 teams (H2H, 20 active players keep 16 NHLers, 16 minors)
    Scoring Cats: G-A-PTS-PPG-PPA-(+/-)-HITS-BLK-SHP-SOG-FOW-GWG / W-L-SVS-SV%-GAA-SO

C- Crosby, Barzal, Bennett, Schmaltz, Novak
W- Forsberg, Batherson, Nichuskin, Tuch, Konecny, Maccelli, Sharangovich, Bertuzzi, Kaliyev, Neighbours, Reichel
    D- Carlson, Rielly, Klingberg
    G- Hellebuyck, Demko, Merzlikins, Vejmelka

    Minors:
F: Fantilli, Cooley, Bourgault, Perreault, Cowan, Ohgren, N. Foote, Goyette, Iskhakov, Denisenko, Tracey
    D: Simashev, Willander, Lambos
G: Schmidt, Rodrigue, DiPietro, Gaudreau, McKay

I second this statement. If it's a situation where you can't trade due to rules or whatnot, Pulock would be my first drop.

Agree with bass56 in how they should be ranked, but I would probably put Strome slightly beneath Keller and Hishier while still above Dubois. Not that it truly matters.
Like many of the others have already said, I'd be looking to make some sort of deal (a 2 for 1 where you get the best player) before dropping any of these young, highly touted prospects.

Jost is at the bottom of my list here (nothing against Jost but these are all pretty solid prospects) but I also agree that you should be able to find a taker for some of these kids.

    Thanks guys..rep where I could.

I agree a trade is always better than a drop and I have been exploring that route but it's tough right now before keeper lock most have thiers set.

Right now I have Pulock and maybe PLD as drops with two others..but we don't set keepers until October so things can change

I wouldn't drop PLD at all. Remember, Columbus took him as a surprise at #3. The Jackets will give him every chance to succeed. PLD has also been doing quite well in the Q once he got traded to Armada. And Armada is in the Q finals.

I am with Tom here. Dont be dropping PLD so early.

I'm with Axeman and Newf here, I wouldn't be dropping PLD. Columbus is hurting at Center and have excellent wingers. With him being drafted 3rd overall he will be given a chance to strut his stuff on the first line sooner or later. If I had to drop 1 it would be Jost. If I was really deep on D I would consider dropping Pulock over him.

Pulock and Jost are the ones you should consider dropping if you have to. I'd even drop A.Nylander before dropping Dubois.

Lots of love for Dubois here..surprisingly. reading over on 'the other guys forum' things seem to have soured.

When I said maybe drop..it was just that. I don't necessarily want to do it, which is partially why I started this thread to guage the rankings..with the added bonus of seeing where this year's top two settle in.

I have a couple of vets that I could also not protect as well as maybe Erikson Ek and RNH so I do have an out. But right now it looks like one of the guys I mentioned may be on the way out. Unless I can do some trading.

    My full ranking would be:

    Keller
    D.Strome
    Hischier
    Patrick
    Dubois
    A.Nylander
    Jost
    Pulock

Strome, Hischier, Patrick and Dubois are so close that I could flip their order tomorrow quite easily but that's how I feel today. In the past, I've put Keller in that same group but he's ahead of them all right now.

Don't go dropping Eriksson Ek or RNH either, Jost hasn't really done anything to be ahead of those two. From your signature, I might actually consider Pickard or Markstrom if needed. Their situation should be more clear in the summer.

Solid keepers, you need to explore the trade route, trade 2-1 or 3-1 for an upgrade somewhere. i.e Leddy and someone for an upgrade on Leddy type of deal or RNH+ Don't want to waste an asset when you have good assets.
