    Default Keeper draft help!

Hey folks, I'm puzzled on what my moves are in this year's draft for my league. I managed to acquire 1st, 3rd, 5th & 7th pick. I'm just wondering what 4 players I should be targeting first. I need 1 defencemen for sure.

    Available players:

    Nolan Patrick
    Nico Herchier

    Zaitsev
    Gardiner

    Arvidsson
    Rakell
    Guentzel
    Sheary
    Mikeal Granlund
    A. Lee

With my 1st I'm most likely taking one of the rookies this year. However, what order should I be targeting these players in? Thanks!

My top 4 from your list (assuming points only) :

    Pretzel (Guentzel)
    Arvidsson
    Rakell
Gardiner (because you said need a d man)

I don't see patrick or herchier having an impact like this year's class of rookies. Remeber this year is really odd with how good of a class it was.

You think Gardiner has more value than Zaitsev?

Mostly agree with MZac, - if you are points only though I would take Sheary over Rakell and Arvidsson. Real chance for 70 pts there. I also would take Gardiner over Zaitsev, without question but you probably could wait until a later round. The question I think is whether this year's top 2 are a better option than any of the top five of your list in the next three years. I could be no problem or it could be Yakupov/Nuge. My list of the proven skaters is:

    Guentzel
    Sheary
    Arvidsson
    Granlund
    Rakell
    Lee

    Gardiner
    Zaitsev

With limited info on your league provided I assumed points only for next year only when I made my picks, so yes I think Gardiner gets more points than zaitsev next season. I only kept a d because you said you need 1.

Not meaning to derail, but since there was a Zaitsev and Gardiner debate, I'll note that Gardiner will be covered in this week's cage match, so stay tuned.

Yes just points. Longer term however, do you think Zaitsev will out value Gardiner?
