Kucherov sounds off on Lightning
Very interesting and candid thoughts here. His play over the last couple of years has more than earned him a right to voice his opinion but one wonders how much could/should stay behind closed doors.

Sounds like he's pissed at Cooper, and also not happy with some teammates. Hope he was open with Yzerman about the guys he thought were doing that.

I heard about this... but I heard it was in Russian... so who translated it and was it translated accurately? I am always nervous to believe things when they are translated... translation could lead to things being taken out of context.

If the translation is accurate, it definitely was not Stamkos. He said he best 9 game stretch with the Lightning was when the coach put him and Stamkos and Namestnikov on the same line.

I read this too. Said he liked playing with Clamkos and Names. Liked playing with Drouin (in 1 game). Didn't like inconsistent lines (makes sense). and yeah was mad at some guys, makes sense though he wants to win you can tell.
Problem with hockey is you can't go out and call out teammates without the hockey people freaking out. So the foreign guys go home, give a candid interview then say the translation was wrong so they don't get torched. Anyway, I love Kucherov. He's amazing

There's been lots of examples of these types of reports coming out of Russia and later being denied. It's difficult to take it seriously.

I don't think it was Johnson because Kucherov said it was guys who already got paid. Johnson is a RFA this year so was definitely playing for a new contract.
