Interesting 1ST round a couple of surprise whit lot of close games whit so many overtime. I am wondering if the 2ND round will start sooner because no 7 games no schedule yet... I really like the matchup for the 2ND round especially OVY VS Crosby, Anaheim VS Edmonton will be fun too...

The NHL just released the schedule.
But before they released it my thinking was that yes they would start it early.
I Recall last year that there was some second round series ( I think the Tampa bay one) that started before some of the other first round game 7 had been played.

It's a testament to how close all the playoff teams are now. There are no favourites anymore.

Parity at its best and for me the games have all been watchable... This is what hockey as a spectacle is about IMO
