My general opinion is no NHL suspension is long enough. Calvert got 1 game when he should have gotten 5. Draisatl will get fined when he should get 2. NHL Player Safety is a joke.

Precedent has not been set for a spear... so it will be interesting to see what he gets.... do they see Driasaitl as Marchand (5 PIM, game misconduct and a 2 game suspension) or Crosby (no penalty or suspension)
Draisaitl is already in the midst of the range having a 5 PIM and game misconduct, I would guess he just gets a tongue lashing.

With the recent attention of spears in the past month, I suspect the League is going to start to look at them more severely. I expect a hefty fine and stern warning as a first offence. If they actually want to send note across the league give him game 5 off. -- which is what they SHOULD do.

It was assault away from the play at the end of the game without provocation. There's no place in the game for what he did.

Looks like the oilers flooded the ice before San Jose's practise this morning. Payback for turning out the lights.
This series is a weird one, normally I'd say this is a huge game 5 but I actually feel like either team could win 2 straight if they were to lose tonight. Can't wait to see how the oil respond and I'm calling a huge game for McDavid.
