They removed that tiebreaker a few years ago. It's been either higher seed or head to head record since then.
It seems that regular season position is the default tiebreaker for head to head playoff matchups in Yahoo! Is that new? I seem to remember goals scored during the matchup being the first tiebreaker, then assists, and so on down the line. Am I just misremembering or did this change at some point in the past couple year?
I went to bed thinking I'd won on the tiebreak (goals) on the find out this morning that I'd lost (regular season position). I'm not looking to change what's happened, just understand why I had the wrong tiebreaker stuck in my head.
Thanks.

what HR said...
Experience is the teacher of all things.
I'''m sorry for you, man. Is tough to lost the finals because of the tiebreaker...
''Tiebreakers for playoff games in Fantasy Basketball and Hockey are determined by, 'Higher seed wins' or 'Best regular season record vs. opponent wins'. This setting can't be changed in Public or Pro Leagues, but is available in Private Leagues until playoffs start.''

I am pretty sure it's head to head record first with regular season record next. I went to bed once thinking I'd lost 6-5-1 only to have a Sunday night stat correction give me the tied category making it 6-6. And as I held the tie breaker, I was through to the semifinals.
Anyone have a link to what the H2H playoff tiebreakers are now?
