Id sit Abdelkader and Parise
Well...down 9-0 after night 1. He had Allen and Elliott plus a full lineup. So looking for everything here....
G, A, PPP, SOG, Hits
Sit 2 of these guys....down 1 g, 4 a, 2 ppp, 16 SOG, 10 hits
Giroux vs Ott
Abdelkader @ Car
Bergeron vs Nas
Zucc @ SJ
Stepan @ SJ
Parise vs Wash
Id sit Abdelkader and Parise
I am about to make a similar thread, so ill answer yours with my thoughts if you do the same
Sit Parise vs Washington. Is he hot in the last 5 games? yes against slumping and non playoff teams. 1 hit in the last 5 games. 12 shots, but this time he isn't facing teams slumping or out of the playoffs. He is playing Holtby and the caps.
My second pick is Giroux. Streaky this season. Not much on hits lately. Claims he has been playing injured. Ottawa been stronger than most of the season.
Abdelkader can throw 5-7 hits a game lately and is coming on strong, despite only 1 point in the last 5. Shoots slightly more than giroux and is being put on the PP more lately.
Bergeron does not get sat. He has been a bit colder the past few games, but seems to follow cold streaks with multipoint games. Not a huge hit guy, but more than the 2 I suggest benching. Does shoot enough, often blasting 3-6 a game.
The NYR pair play the slumping sharks and have stats middling most of these categories.
That's my 2 cents. I am sure others will disagree.

I just have a feeling about Abdelkader. He is seeing top PP time lately and has 3PPP in his last 9 games and 9 of his 21 points this season have come in the last 15 games. And the wings started winning with him being bumped up. Also, Carolina just lost Lack to a stretcher and they go back to Mr loss Cam Ward.
Giroux has 7 PPP in his last 30 games, claims to be playing injured and has less SOG. Ottawa has been strong lately, winning 9 of the last 15 and not allowing more than 2 goals in the majority of those contests.
