Default Taylor Hall 2017 and beyond

What are your guys thoughts on Hall going forward?

I own him in a keeper and have noticed he's quietly been pretty damn consistent since I picked him up in Feb. Just looked into his stats and found them pretty interesting...

He went through a 13 game stretch in Dec-Jan with only 5 points.

If you take that away he has 45 points in 51 games. Not bad at all given the Devils team he plays for.

I think he's a 60-65 point (pace) guy with upside for more if they can improve their team. He's able to generate offense himself so I dont think he's done as a 70 point guy in this league. Plenty of good years ahead of him still.

agree with this. if he had an elite centerman then i could see him hitting 75 and possibly 80 pts like he did a few years back but doesn't look likely for this year or next

I'd expect 60-65 pace with ppg upside. Will he ever play 82 games again? I don't know why but I doubt it. He's also turned into a bit of a whiner about Edmonton's success. It comes off immature and petty. This is not someone I want on my team in real life. In fantasy there is big value still.

his injury concerns bug me too. i had the chance at taking Hall in my $50 1 year league but went with Johansen instead. seems like almost every year he gets an injury where he is sidelines 3-4 weeks

Hall is a top5 LW in the NHL. He drives offense by himself. If NJ ever gets a great passer to play with Hall, I'd expect Hall to be closer to 80 pts than 60. Until NJ gets such center, consider Hall a 55-65 pts player.

This right here. He's playing with a huge chip on his shoulder, NJ better start adding pieces around him or he's definitely gone as soon as possible. I think this is the worst we've seen of him this year. Think Parise in his prime plus IMO.
