All I really need is a stable 1B and SP. Have OF, and 3B to deal around. I have RPs (Kimbrel, Osuna, Rosenthal, Rodney) but unless I get good value, I'm not really willing to move Kimbrel for a C-List starter.

I hate trading in 1yr, it's so hard to get a "baseball deal" done.

I thought my pitching was good to start the yr, traded Paxton for Carp, then at the deadline i was looking for SP. But so was everyone. So when everyone is looking for it, it's so tough to even try and get a baseball deal done.

Yeah, our league setup makes it tough to get deals done. Since FA is flush with batter options, everyone wants pitching. And with it being a shallower league, no one wants to trade their top talent, and secondary talent is close enough to the FA quality (short term) that it's not worth trading for.

At the draft, I went for hitting and left pitching until later. In hindsight, that was a mistake I wont make again. Ugh!
