Yes, Reimer for sure
but I wouldn't go dropping Bishop just yet... I'd wait for the dust to settle first...
The Bishop trade screwed me. 1st team in my sig. My option are:
Reimer (getting the most starts; will it last?)
Lehtonen (was getting the majority of the starts; got shelled last night)
Mason (hasn't started in nearly a month; Neuvirth's play could open the door for him?)
Bernier (getting the starts with Gibson injury; hasn't played that well though)
Markstrom (figure he should get more starts with the way Miller has played; afraid of Vancouver though)
Nilsson (hope that Lehner is out long term with a head injury)
I'm thinking that Reimer might be my best option. What do you think?

Why not wait and see what the Kings do with Bishop....they didn't acquire him just to sit on the bench.
I'd imagine they apply a 50-50 split the rest of the way.

Acquire Reimer for sure. but not at the expense of Bishop. Atleast you still have Price and Dubnyk.
I’d wait a week, see what happens. With 21 games left, 4 b2b, and looking at the schedule, I can see Bishop getting 8-10 of the starts. 8-10 likely ELITE numbers (who knows with goalies tho) would be more beneficial than some of the guys you mentioned.

Like others say, worst case scenario Bishop stays with LA and splits starts with Quick. Not really that much different from what he was doing in Tampa Bay, and LA has better defence. Why the mad scramble and panic? Hold pat. If Reimer is available why not grab him, but not because Bishop's stock has plummeted. It might actually have gone up.

I'd argue that Bishop is more valuable splitting the Kings crease 50/50 than splitting the Lightning crease 50/50.
With Price and Bishop as your main guys I'd be fine with Bishop as a spot-starter as my #3.

Thanks everyone!! Rep'd all of you I believe. I guess there was a little panic in my original post.
If Bishop sees a 50/50 I will be mostly happy. Not sure if that will be the case with a healthy Quick.

We don't know Quick is fully healthy, and sparing him with Bishop to finish out the season is a very likely scenario.
I like Reimer the best of the options available and think he runs with quite a few good starts to push the Panthers towards a playoff spot.
I will also put out the option of grabbing Reimer at the cost of Steen, and just owning the goalie points from here on out. It may not be the best way to go depending on the intricacies of your league, but worth mulling over anyways.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Yea, I've thought about grabbing Reimer as an insurance policy and dropping someone else. That is another option to consider. I think I would drop a D instead of a W though. We only run 3 D so dropping one won't hurt too much. Dropping to 5 W in a start 4 makes me nervious. Yandle would be my drop.
I think I'm going to stand pat until we all find out where Bishop fits in.

You are a little to close to the ledge today. Screwed? I think not.
