McDavid offer?
Going to the off season I need to make a little room on my roster. I made a offer for McDavid. Is this a good idea if he accepts it? Or should I stick with what I have? At this point I would need to drop 4 players to draft in the 1st round. My pick should fall around 6th overall. I think i'll stash Stolarz if the deal goes through. Hoping he can have a backup role on the Flyers next season.

To give you a bit more constructive feedback compared to my last comment, if I was the other GM I would be wanting you to switch Zuccarello with Marner and PLD with Stamkos. You are going to have to massively overpay to get McDavid, if you want him go for it, but McDavid is always the best player in any trade any normal scoring league so for it to be worth it for GM to move him, you are going to need to offer a kings ransom

Damn that's a lot Sidenown. I can't see that type of trade making my team better. I thought mine was a pretty fair opener. Two top 20 positional players a elite prospect and a potential #1 goalie as soon as next season.

In a keep 30 players for McDavid I think you would have to offer Stamkos / Drouin / Gostisbehere for the other GM to even start thinking about moving McDavid.

Good grief.
McDavid is the best player in hockey moving forward. His first full season and he is probably getting the art ross.
You can't give quantity for Quality like McDavid.
Zuccarello is a good player, but a star, not a superstar. Granland? He is not that good. PLD is a solid prospect, but will have to bludgeon his way through to the NHL in a few years. Vasi has been dreadful this year and no guarantee to be starter next year. Worst case scenario, Bishop goes on a tear and Vasi goes to Vegas.
You start this trade with Stamkos + Marner and see if he bites. You don't offer low end players.
The fact that you also asked for his 1st had me in stitches.

CreamTeam, as you can see its pretty tough to acquire the top position player in fantasy. As others have said I wouldn't consider zucc and Granlund as top 20 players. I love Granlund, his hot streak is sending me on my way to winning my league but to borrow from soccer: form is temporary, class is forever. If you were redraft a 14 team league, Mcdavid would be the first pick and those players wouldn't be taken until at least the 10th round. Gotta give to get and in this case as I said and others too...its starts with Stammer and Marner. Honestly, the cost is why I haven't bothered trying to acquire him.

I own McDavid and if I received that offer I would decline without giving any feedback. Listen to the above advice, if you want McDavid get serious and start with Stamkos + Marner. Also, when you are trying to pull off a trade to get the absolute best fantasy player I would suggest posting the other GM's full team too. This way we can all see his needs etc.
