Granlund for Quick/Budaj

Offer is my Mikael Granlund for his Budaj/Quick. This could really help me going forward. I am behind in goalie games played, and don't have a great goalie aside from Holtby. Would be tough to lose Granlund, but I do like the idea of having both LA goalies + Holtby to ride out end of season.

I'd absolutely jump on it. My only question is can you slot Quick into your IR directly at the expense of Pavelec, or do you need to drop someone first in order to facilitate that? Because a drop would change things, unless you had a suitable replacement lined up in FA.

I would have to drop somebody, most likely Rakell. But once the trade is processed I can drop Pavelec and put Quick on the IR.

But you like the deal overall?

The only thing that puts me off here is the Sep element when you are acquiring Quick and Budaj for two categories

I like the deal although as a former Quick owner, I'm convinced he's done for the season (but Budaj is performing well in his own right). Slot Stone into IR, and drop Pavelec to facilitate the trade. Then put Quick in IR and take Stone off.
