Buchnevich for me easily. More skilled and a couple years younger. In my pts keeper I was going to keep one or the other for next season + beyond and I went Buchnevich without a second thought.
It looks like these two guys will be competing for a top 6 spot over next few years.
So far I'd have to give the edge to Vesey. He may need some conditioning, but he seems to have a complete, NHL ready game. He also is a real goal scorer and is always looking to make things happen and advancing the line.
Buchnevic seems to have an excellent offensive skill set but not yet ready for the NHL in other areas. He sometimes looks like a fish out of water and doesn't hold up to the tighter, more physical game.
I know many expect Buchnevic to have the higher upside. But as good as Vesey looks at times, and with his aggressive attitude and nose for the net, I'm wondering if they are really that far apart offensively. Because right now I'd probably take a slight decrease in offense for the more complete game.
Buch on the other hand looks like he could even bust eventually. Something I dont see from Vesey. Or at least, Buch ,Igor end up a hollow point scorer that adds not much else.
Really I'm looking to have one for the future and I just can't decide. Considering offering a Vesey for Buch, but watching Buch has made me reconsider.

Experience is the teacher of all things.
I almost call this a push. Not sure I like one guy more than the other. I can see these two most seasons coming within five or so points from each other.

Buchnevich but not by much.....he seems more injury prone than Vesey but I like his upside more.....
