    Default Fowler for Klingberg --REP--

The Ducks homer in my league has been pestering me to trade him Fowler since I acquired him earlier this year. He has just now sent me an offer, giving me Klingberg in exchange.

I traded Klingberg away earlier in the season, havent really regretted it much, but at the same time I wouldnt mind having him back. I do worry that Honka will usurp his PP1 slot next year. Fowler (D #21, 4.6 ppg) and Klingberg (D #22, 4.9 ppg) are essentially tied this year in my league scoring, theyre the same age, so not a lot of daylight between them. In the multi-cat points league in my sig, who has a better future long-term, Fowler or Klingberg? REP for your assistance on this question.

I bet if you look over their last 10-15 games they aren't as tied accept

    I agree wth sulla.
klingberg is much better, fantasy wise. he started off the season poorly, but is picking it up, and it shouldn't be too close between the two of them for the rest of the season.

Agreed with the others. Rough start for the kid, maybe due to inexperience but he's been coming around and you still have more offensive based cats that will always be Ghost's bread and better, whole Fowler is much diverse and sometimes utilized in way less conducive to fantasy production.

I definitely go with Klingberg here and it's really not close for me. They may be producing the same but the difference is that Fowler is having a career year and Klingberg is underperforming. I make the deal, this time next year, you'll be laughing at the steal you just got.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

..what 4T2 said..Fowler is having a career season and likely not to reoccur..Klinger as having a slower season and is much better than this...make the trade.

I would take the Klingberg side easily. As others have said Klingberg is in a slump and Fowler has played (until recently) the best hockey of his career. Sell high, Buy low. Klingberg will hold much more trade value as well. I would grab this deal quick.

    Klingberg without a doubt.
The upside and the homerun potential are much better.

I'm not too scared for Klingberg next year.. Honka is still 2-3 years away from stealing his job I think.. don't forget that Fowler also has young talent breathing down his neck.. twice as much actually: Montour and Theodore

I take the Klingberg end of that deal, like everyone else has said. Higher name and expected production value moving forward.
