Mack
Horquist
Eberle
These three marquee guys recently hit the wire.
Points only - rest of season.
-Mack is the biggest name, but the Avs look like a writeoff this year
-Horny's having a relatively disappointing season but plays with Malkin and continues to get PP1 time (until Letang comes back)
-Am I crazy for wanting to take a chance on Eberle? Obviously having a horrific season, but he finally broke out of his slump tonight and just the glimmer of hope that he may reunite with McDavid hard to resist.
How do you rank them?
Mack
Horquist
Eberle

Agree with Wonko here - generally when I use the wire I'm swinging for the fences so always go biggest upside (worst case they end up back on the wire in a week or two)
Experience is the teacher of all things.
Mack - even dumpster fire teams manage 2+ goals per game, and if all the other weapons are moved then Mack should see his name on a lot of box scores.

I'm with wonko on this one. Mack is miles ahead of the other two. And yes you are crazy for considering Eberle over him. But I understand the temptation, I think he's a higher risk/reward than Hornqvist.
Without me, it's only "aweso".
Guys...seems this is a 1 year league, so only ROS. Mack's horrific season certainly over takes his name IMO. I totally do not think Blayze is crazy for pondering each. So much so, my rankings are opposite.
Eberle/Horn because of their surrounding cast who they may play with and may positively be impacted
Mack because he IS the McD of Malkin/Crosby on hat team. I don't see his mates helps by him this season and he is certainly a bust with his team this year
Nearly a coin flip between Ebs and Horn for me.

Mack has the highest point-per-game percentage of any of them at .71 to Hornqvist's .68 and Eberle's .60. Colorado (42) has also played less games than Pittsburgh (44) or Edmonton (47!).
And I will always take the player that is the source of the production over the player dependent on his linemate's production.

the mack truck for me as well
Thx fellas.
Just keep in mind this is one year ROS. All about momentum and who can have that monster second half. 60 point forwards are a dime a dozen in this league.
