I think the guide is correct. You want Letang.
Points only. Pushing to win this year, so performance over the next 40 games (and the next couple of years) is important. Mid season guide suggests at 15 point advantage to Letang. What do you think?

The guide can be wrong... But barely... I keep Letang

Done! Thanks for your comments.
How do I injury-adjust Letang? I need a dman to contribute the rest of the year and to be keeper-worthy next year. Can Klingberg or other dmen fit that bill?
11 teams, start 12 F, 6 D, 2 G, roto, no playoffs, keepers (protect 5F, 3D, 1G, and 1 rookie) G/A/SOG/HIT/DefG/DefA/DefSOG/DefHIT/Sv/W/GAA
F: Pastrnak, Aho, Guentzel, Debrincat, Barzal, Ehlers, Hughes, Meier, Wilson, Lafreniere, Suzuki, Backstrom, KJohnson, Perfetti
D: Hamilton, Dahlin, DeAngelo, Bouchard, Hronek, Girard
G: Jarry, Vejmalka, Samsonov, Luukkonen
I'd injury-adjust him by finding the average points per game of the top 20 defensemen on waivers, and then plug that amount in for injury time. Assume Letang is injured for a slightly-above average number of games next year, relative to how much he's been hurt recently, to be as conservative as possible.

Klingberg sucks. I don't even know if he makes my 6 keepers next year. Pretty upset I wasted a spot on him.

Klingberg will be fine. That being said, it would not surprise me if Letang heals over the break and kills it. Letang for this year for sure.
HTH Daily League, 8 teams, (goals, ppp, +/-, assists, SOG, W, GAA, SV%) keepers in Bold.

Even with 1 point in his last 6 Klingberg is still on pace for 45 points... I'd take that suckiness from all my d men...
