If you want to quote or edit, do not click on the actual link, but instead right click and open in a new tab and it should work.

For example if I wanted to edit this post, I would right click on "Edit Post" and select "Open Link in new tab".

Sadly, balancing on one foot while wearing a tinfoil hat does not appear to be successful. I'll try one of the other fixes though.
