I just started a thread on this forum because I rode the hot streak (loved it), but I don't think he's worth an own in my semi-keeper league right now. At least not for my squad, given some of the other FA options out there.

Haha well, he certainly was worth an own during his hot streak. Not keeper worthy, but definitely worthy of owning.

As the sample size continues to get bigger, his 57 point pace, +13, and solid peripherals continue to get more impressive. Hopefully he can start to convert on the power play to cement his spot there.

I really wish there were more player specific threads like this that evolved over time and continued to be discussed on, kind of like the rotoworld football forums. Never understood why people seem to take more of a disposable thread approach on these forums. Post a subject, it gets 10 responses, then it falls into oblivion and someone posts a new similar thread days or weeks later. Meanwhile the Josh Gordon thread on rotoworld had like 90 pages on conversation over the course of the season. Lmao

That could be an option for the future as I do like that approach on another baseball forum. But the individual approaches are helpful because every situation is different. We could use the team threads to discuss individual players from that team? Otherwise that's A LOT of threads.

Well, this Mantha one seems to be coming along nicely. I think I am going to start a few more for other guys I am interested in engaging in ongoing discussion about, and see how it goes.
