I know he played 10 games last year, he's on my team, I know all his stats.. He's a rookie according to the league's definition, having played less than 25 games entering the season.

Ev, nobody said Mantha is going to be a superstar. Doug said he is "doing something special." Do you really have to take issue with that? Producing at a 36 goal / 62 pt pace as a rookie and being a +11 while doing it on a team that is last in their division and 24th in the league in goals for IS "doing something special." He didn't say that Mantha himself is special or that he will sustain his production. He just observed that what he is doing right now is special. Ask Detroit fans if they agree with him.... I doubt you will hear a single "no."

I traded mantha + senyshyn + zboril for Pulju + Max Jones + 2017 2nd, 2018 1st and 2018 3rd and i'm already starting to regret it since Mantha looks so good and Edmonton is not letting Poolparty play anywhere :'(
