Team 2 in Sig; someone dropped today so I picked up and dropped Chad Johnson with intention to put Murray on IR as soon as it clears and then picking up Johnson again while he's out. I have 1st overall priority on waivers so I know he is mine. Good move for down the road?

I've been in a commanding lead in this league for quite some time and I think people are starting to make panic moves, case in point like this. I am currently 107-45-13 and am winning this week by a landslide so that record difference between category won and lost will only grow larger.

Unless his IR slots were all locked up hence he had to drop him? For me it's a no brainer but not sure I'd rush out that quickly to pick up Johnson again but the logic is sound

Just curious...what place is the guy who dropped Murray in? And what other moves did he make? That's a really strange (and stupid) move. He could have traded Murray for something, and prevented him from going to top team. A very curious move.

so it turns out his girlfriend decided to combat boredom she would do some roster maintenance for him which included dumping Murray; he had Howard and Buchnevich in IR slots; she absolutely ruined him; he's currently in 7th place. Johnson I just want because Elliott still has not proven himself to me despite this nice run, all the opposition he has faced has been bottom of the barrel.

No I agree that Elliott is still on shaky ground its more the fact that Johnson has left the door open to him right now in the first place as he has been average his last 4-5 starts at best

for sure; I am hoping Elliott runs away with it this time so I do not have to roster them both. Now with acquisition of Murray I have to eventually down line consider dropping one of the goalies not named Jones and might end up just dropping CGY goalies together and picking someone up on the wire; Elliott has no trade value right now so hopefully a hot run ensues and perhaps I find a trade partner.

well Horvat is def on my radar I seem to be only one aware of him in both my leagues; there's also the likes of Fabbri, Bobby Ryan, Provorov, Skjei, Eriksson, Shaw...only mistake both drafts was drafting Elliott, other league sat debating between him and Dubnyk Round 7 and chose oh so wrongly.

this is ESPN, I doubt anyone is going to scoop Johnson but some teams have some brutal goaltending; Reinhart also out there so he's def in for big second half I feel; already hot right now.I love Trocheck alot though he hits, shoots and plays defense minutes, too valuable right now with Barkov down. So either Johnson, Reinhart, Horvat I am thinking once this move clears tomorrow and I put Murray on waivers.
