Haha glad to hear it. Gaudreau and the December home stand were the two things he needed.

I want to say Skinner too but I don't see a drop. If you can put Galchenyuk on the IR or IR+ or something, then that's your filler for now.

No IR slot!
Ghost for Pietro, done. I'm higher on Steen than Marner, but I'm short on C at the moment. Granted, I'm +8 games ahead of the pace against the C game cap. If Galchenyuk is out the minimum 6 weeks, that's probably in the neighbourhood of 18 games. I'll have to pick up those 10 games on the back end. Then again, finding a C is not that hard. Plus at some point, Yahoo! might actually add C eligibility for Steen...
Oh yeah and Mason is still sitting in free agency. Though I don't like him better than what I have.

depending on which site you use, there's controls that can be put in place to avoid abuse of the IR slot. freeze transactions, roster movement until the IR slot is cleared once returned from injury - wait until the team places the player on IR. That can be a killer if you get ravaged by injuries in a short period of time.
