    Correct! In fact, if the goalie needy teams are all nixed by Fleury then it is conceivable that Pitt would actually have to "pay" another team to take him. Similar to a salary dump deal (prospects and/or picks going the other way), except with a still reasonably young and effective stanley cup winning goalie. Expansion creates some very interesting situations indeed.

    I suppose it is worth mentioning that one more possibility exists... Pittsburgh protects Fleury and pays off Vegas (via picks and/or players) to promise not to take Murray in the expansion draft. Although this could get expensive for Pitt, because what new team wouldn't want a young stanley cup winning goalie like Murray to build around?
