Stranger Things
Just finished watching season 1 yesterday. Split the 8 episodes into 2 viewings (had I had the time, I would have most likely gone through all 8 of them in one shot). Have to say that the first 4 kept me wanting more whereas the last 2-3 were more predictable and a tad cheezy. Nonetheless, I really liked the series as a whole; the 80's vibe with the heavy synth soundtrack, the Goonies feel and the overall ''coolness'' of it.
Season 2 is kicking off in early 2017; can't wait
Anyone else watched it and if so, what's your take on it?

Does anyone know any other series or movies that have a similar feel to them? I know Super-8 is one of them and so is The Goonies, Lost Boys to a certain extent, but I can't think of any other ones. I've heard of Flight of the Navigator but I've never seen it so I'm not sure it falls within this genre and if so, if it's even good.
