What are his stats for the week? That's the big question for me. If he is ahead of you I start him, if he's below you I sit him.
So right now I have some nice stats that already count towards scoring; 3 W/94 SV/1.949 GAA/.940 SV%. Tonight is true test for if the Oilers are truly improved or not against WSH but I cannot lie and say I am hesitant to start him with the offensive power they possess. I own Johansson and Carlson as well who are both deployed on PP1 so if they pot one I guess that sort of offsets the sting haha. My opponent is starting Griess against Montreal tonight and he got a shutout from Dubnyk last night; he will need another start from a goalie after tonight for the stats to begin counting.

He got a shutout last night so currently he has 1W/27 SV/ 1 SO/ 0.00 GAA/ 1.000 SV%; BUT those stats won't count until he gets two more starts, second one comes tonight from Greiss against high scoring Montreal. My stats count towards head to head as I already have 3 goalie starts this week.

I posted the same question earlier. I did a best estimate of how the rest of this week's matchup will go with my opponent. I felt I had better real game match-ups with my goalies later in the week so I'm sitting Talbot tonight. Probably end up kicking myself tomorrow morning.
Im glad I started Talbot..
My team has been riding my goalies hard lately and I can't believe Jake Allen has been my worst of the bunch.

wow Cam Talbot is not messing around. He has been my best goalie by far in redraft league though everyone minus Hellebuyck seems to be coming around. After that last night I am starting Cam with no thought about it. MNore points for Connor 2! woooooo

I knew that would happen. Now watch Price and/or Mason get lit up tonight.
Talbot is an instant start in any format it seems at this point.

Definitely ... until he proves otherwise. Wow... Larsson for Hall... WHO KNEW?
Looks like the bold moves are paying dividends.
I hated the Hall trade at first but after I calmed down later that day, I felt this would be a good move for the Oilers. Larsson is solidifying the backend nicely and is giving the Oilers a true #1Dman (minus the offense) back there. Losing Hall sucked, but if it meant the Oilers would start winning, it would look like a solid trade. So far, that's been the case. People aren't crying about the trade anymore. Winning cures a lot.

"Cleavage is like the sun. You can look, but dont stare.. Unless you're wearing sunglasses."
For sure; plus the Russell signing and another year of experience under Nurse's belt; as a Ranger fan I knew Talbot was a legitimate goaltender despite going to team where he would get peppered more but this season had a feeling he would make noise; getting him Round 17 might be better then year where I got Monahan in Round 20 and he put up 31/31. Although Coyle in Round 22 this year might turn into the steal of the draft for me.
Losing Hall sucked but the defense definitely looks much more cohesive and not lost out there.
