A buddy of mine uses these forums so he will likely find this thread. I kind of need a RW option for the future and I have a wealth of talent I can be using on my farm team which is log jammed due to GP and being able to rotate in skaters. Is this pretty much a decent move for both of us? And am I kind of on the "losing side" if there is one on the risk vs reward; essentially proven vs unproven. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I can but it puts me right up against the cap and their are a couple players on FA that I'm looking at but can't afford em due to my current cap situation.

Sounds like Marner would be the better play because he's got some production now, great production later, and you can fill in with some talent in the meantime based on the savings.

I like the move (potentially) in a cap league. It depends what you're using the extra cap on though.

Way more potential in Mitch. Hall has alrasdy peaked. And sal cap savings are icing on the cake. No brainer for me. Take Marner. Any day.
