Trade: Talbot-Parise FOR Neuvirth-Forsberg
Hey all!
So my team is actually doing pretty good right now... Except in the Goals, PPP, SOG column. My goalie categories are not that great either but I think it is small sample size to determine goalie categories.
I am desperate for some scoring players that have multi category roudnedness such as Forsberg.
I have been in discussion with the owner of Forsberg, who would like to have a starting goalie aside from his Gibson. Here is currently what we are discussing: Talbot-Parise for Neuvirth-Forsberg.
I am leaning towards agreeing to it, mainly because I get a stud in Forsberg. However, I do want to keep Parise (I expect an off season for him, along with injuries...) in case he does light it up and score 30 goals over the season AND I do lack in the G, PPP, SOG column. I am trying to keep Parise while trying to receive Forsberg. But like I said, the current deal in talks is the one I stated earlier.
In my situation, what would you guys do?

Despite the downgrade in goal, Talbot won't be the longterm starter in Edm (IMO), so the large upgrade to land Forsberg makes this a great deal for you. Neuvirth is a career backup, but to land a young elite winger I would move Talbot for him, Talbot has quite poor D infront of him so his numbers won't likely be very good anyway.

Am I really downgrading in goal though?
