Any news on his UBI? Some say a wrist, some say an elbow, some say a shoulder and some even say a rib... It seems minor in either case, but it would still be interesting to see what the talk is all about.

last thing I read was "upper body" day to day.
Penguins morning skate starting. Missing: Conor Sheary (eye), Sidney Crosby (concussion), Kris Letang (upper-body) .. and Brian Dumoulin.

a bit of hope though:
Penguins have not recalled a defenseman from Wilkes-Barre, which suggests they expect Letang and/or Dumoulin to be available tonight.

I'm not so sure Letang's comments are promising
"We're very encouraged that he joined us for practice today," coach Mike Sullivan said after Tuesday's morning skate. "I actually thought he looked really good." Letang stated that he felt "like crap," but he might be able to take contact on Wednesday.
The "like crap" could just be some conditioning or whatnot related to the time off, tough to say out of context.

Letang was on the ice for the Penguins’ morning skate, but will miss his fourth straight game on Thursday. HIs availability for the morning skate is a good sign though and he could be ready to return on Saturday in Philadelphia.
Getting close though!
Start him if ya got him!

Great news! Thanks.
Letang is just so darn good when he plays and he plays in all situations.. Amazing talent!!

Angus is my best friend at dobberhockey..
Agreed. I watched most of the game last night and was just dumbfounded at how good he is. Like you say he plays in all situations, PP, PK, and logs heavy minutes. He would come out of his end after making a few amazing defensive plays to generate and incredible offensive play seamlessly and regularly. Arguably the best defenseman in the game if it wasn't for his re-occuring injuries. Fantasy wise, with my league's daily starts, and 3 IR spots, it really doesn't hurt me that much at all. Actually gives me a chance to try out the next shiny new toy while he is on the shelf
