    Default Montoya, Dubnyk or Johnson

I have Montoya on my roster, until Price comes back. He starts tomorrow at home against Pitt, who played tonight against Colorado. Pitt intends to play Condon tomorrow. I also own Dubnyk, who starts tomorrow at home against LA (minus Quick). I'm 2/2 so far in terms of picking the right goalie to start. Got the win from Montoya against Buffalo, then got the win from Dubnyk vs Winnipeg. The last option is to add Johnson for a spot start at home vs Buffalo. I would have to drop one of my bench players (ie: Jenner) in order to pick up Johnson, because I'm not going to drop Montoya until I know Price is back/healthy.

How would you rank these guys in terms of order of preference to start for tomorrow? I feel like they are all pretty good match-ups.

    Dubnyk should be the starter.
Montoya if you have enough horseshoes.

No reason to burn a move on Johnson here.

Why do you like Dubnyk more than Montoya for tomorrow? I'm a little slow tonight, what do you mean by enough horseshoes? :P.

Dubnyk is the obvious #1 since he's the first guy you drafted.

If I read your league settings properly, you only get 82 goalie starts for the year. I doubt I would take a chance on Montoya against the Penguins nor would I be picking up Johnson for a possible start against Buffalo.

Dubnyk is a main starter, and has a supposedly defensively reliable team in front of him, and is playing LA that basically only has half a dozen good players.
By horseshoes I meant if you're feeling really lucky. So Montoya being a riskier play against a Pittsburgh offence coming off a loss.

That's what I sort of thought man, just wanted to be sure haha. I realize the coming off of a loss bit, but with Condon in net and still no Crosby, they don't worry me as much. Also, the Kings are 0-2 so aren't they going to be desperate too, even if they are undermanned?

It's the beginning of the season, everyone wants to get a big jump. Everyone is desperate. I'm going with the much safer bet in Dubnyk. I can definitely see the argument for Montoya though. That's why I said if you're feeling lucky, then feel free to go for it!

Well, Kuemper is starting today so your choice became easier.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I would be tempted to sit my options for tonight and pick up games later in the week...

It would appear so. No point in adding Kuemper because I would have to drop someone, just like if I were to add Johnson! I mean I think Kuemper and Johnson both make for solid starters tonight, but might be safer to just roll with who I have.
