Didn't get to the see the game due to being out watching the Jays. I wouldn't be worried about him though. He will get time and he will perform.
Could just be something as simple as him having been on the ice before the penalty was taken.

It has me worried a bit too, they play their first PP with 4 FWD and Josi, than Subban comes in for 2nd PP. Josi had 6 min of PP (27:55 TOI) and Subban 1:56 min PP (23:04 TOI)
So Subban goes from 1st PP(usualy the full 2 mins)and 27min TOI to a 2nd PP and 23min TOI. I think it drops his fantasy value by alot the way it is right now.
I may try to move him while he's still perceived as a top value fantasy D and get the max out of him. Would it be an error to do so..? hmmmm

What if he could fetch me Austin Matthews? The GM has poor D and I could replace Subban by Hedman for my second keeper D?

Look, it's early and you know he'll get more chances. And you know Matthews will probably slow down. Probably. Like, down to a 200pt pace.
And - and I don't know your views on these things - but I like to have a strong D. If PK is a top-five offensive D over the past few years, then you'd better be getting a top-five, ten forward back. Or one with the potential to get there. At least that's my view
And if those are the scoring categories in your league, PK would have massive value.

The issue with Subban was he got onto a new team where they already had a PPQB that knew how everyone played.
In the latest game Ellis-Subban were out for 47.62% of the powerplay time which was the most out of any D-pairing. Might just end up being who’s got their game going that day gets the PP time. Seems like Subban-Josi pairing isn’t happening anymore tho on Even Strength.
