As of this day, Weds 10/5, if you owned Fleury as a 3rd goalie...would you trade Mrazek for Matt Murray?

My current goalies are Price, Mrazek, and Fleury.

Not knowing all the particulars involved I would say "YUP - trade away!"

This year you get Price and 100% of the Penguins.
Next year you get Price, the Penguins #1 goalie and a #1 goalie of another team (where ever Fleury/Murray gets traded to)

First off, I think Fleury is your G2, not your G3.
It depends on the league if I would want the 1A in a platoon on a bad team, or the star backup on a really good team. What is your league and the stats like?

Goalies have all of the Yahoo cats available. pretty good team, H2H, 10 team hits league

Just for curiosity sake, how many teams in your league?

I probably would, but I'd prefer to deal someone else from my team. You have Wins, which is a solid category for Fleury over Mrazek. If I had to deal Mrazek for Murray I would, then if Fleury ends up in LV, I'd deal him away pretty quickly.

I have a Holtby/Mrazek/Fleury setup right now, but the only category is SV%, and trust me, Fleury is my #3 goalie there, but it's a league with odd settings for starters.

It's a close enough trade that the handcuff definitely leaves you better off.

In that case it shouldn't be too tough to fill in starts if you need to off the waiver wire.
