Which tandem to target? Dal, Philly or Fla

Team in sig and wondering which tandem I should target tonight?

Mason/Neuvirth
Luongo/Reimer
Lehtonen/Niemi

Personally I like them in that order but I also feel like I should go West given I already have Lundqvist and MAF

I like Florida's tandem here. They should rack up quite a few Ws and the netminders will put up solid peripherals. After that, probably Philly followed by Dallas. Dallas has the stronger team but I don't trust their goalies at all as they will bury you in GAA and SV%.

I don't think diversifying by conference makes much of a difference.
I personally like Philly's the least, as they are probably the third team out of three here, and if there was a team to have both starters injured at the same time, it's probably Philly.
Personally I go with the Dallas duo, then Florida, then Philly.

I'd draft Luongo before the other starters so FLA for me.

1. Dallas (two good goalie, on a really good team - only up from here).
2. Florida (two good goalies, on an up and coming, strong team, only up from here, injury concerns with Bobby)


3. Philly (huh? Not close, Philly has a ways to go)

Dallas....CBS actually had Lehtonen.....LEHTONEN....as the top ranked goalie this year...hadda be a glitch. Dallas is too run and gun for my Selke tastes. I think Philly will be improved and like their tandem better than Leht/Niemi....if you have to choose, I like Florida's team and goaltending the best. Good luck.

There's also a chance that neither Niemi or Lehtonen finish the season with Dallas. If I'm Dallas and I see that my window to win now is here I'm targeting Bishop/Vasil/Fleury/Halak/Greiss or someone of that ilk whose present team might not protect them in the expansion draft and feels that they can get better value with a trade this season.

IMO, the DAL DUO is the value-tandem.
Both are pegged way down the Yahoo! list - wherever you find yourself most near the turn - I'd snag both close together and take 82gp from DAL.

The problem with the other two teams is this:
FLA - Luongo should go in the 12-16 goalie group... so you gotta 1.Get him, 2.Try to Figure out when Reimer is valued.
PHI - Mason should go in the 16-20 goalie group... and you gotta 1. Get him, 2. Try to Figure out when Neuvirth might go.
That's really difficult.

I find it easier to snag both goalies at one time... especially later in draft.
I also think Mike Smith is going to sit there for a while in most leagues - and put up good numbers.
And I'd also see how long the WPG goalies sit there - and consider drafting Hellebuyck/Pavelec - in that order. Nobody is going to touch Hutchinson if you get those two... he'll be on the wire if Helle gets sent to AHL.

Well Pengwin pretty much nailed it....Luongo went before my 11th overall pick......I eventually took Hellebuyck. Then as the draft kept going no one had touched Lehtonen so I grabbed him in the 4th round (of a keep 10 so 14th round).

Yes to someone else though. Ive owned him the past couple years and all he';s done is increase my numbers and not get me wins. I'd rather have someone increase my numbers and get the wins!
