with the info we have now... i\'m thinking that he\'ll probably be sent to the OHL.

and, even if he isn\'t, I would draft him like he will be, because I don\'t see a lot of points from him this year if he does make the jackets.

their lines are looking pretty set with NHL-caliber players right now...

F1: Rick Nash -- Derick Brassard -- Kristian Huselius
F2: Fredrik Modin -- R.J. Umberger -- Jake Voracek
F3: Jason Chimera -- Michael Peca -- Jared Boll
F4: Murray/Novotny/York -- Manny Malhotra -- Raffi Torres

the only space for him would be to bounce Murray/Novotny/York out... but why waste him on the 4th line?

I would actually prefer if he was sent to Syracuse... that way, once one of Peca/Modin/Torres inevitably gets injured, he can get called up. if he goes to Sudbury in the OHL, then he can\'t be called up to the NHL unless they have quite a few injuries and declare it an \"emergency\"... similar to what happened with Claude Giroux and the Flyers last season.

the best we can hope for is that Torres or someone else isn\'t ready to start the season, or gets hurt in training camp, and then Filatov is given his 9 game tryout... a Sam Gagner situation.

incidentally, apparently the #1 line of Nash-Brassard-Huselius is going like gangbusters in camp today.
