Guys I Need help ASAP

Keeper deadline tomorrow.
Was offered this deal and I don't like malkin and I know all the injuries ect with him.

My burns and 8th 77 overall
For
Malkin and 4th (36th overall)

Big thing is with yahoo removing burns winger eligibility I'm not sure I should be keeping 2 Dmen (although they may be the best 2 out there)
Am I over thinking the 2 D keeper thing? Is this a good deal given malkin potential and the 40 spot pick upgrade?

Burns peripherals are just so hard to ignore

personally i'd keep burns, gives you arguably the best two D in the league. as you said malkin's injuries hurt his value, and it will be much easier to redraft a C who might score just as much as Malkin over the course of the season vs a D that can do what Burns does.

With it being such a shallow amount of keepers, that 4th is going to be awesome. But I think I still prefer Burns ever so slightly. He could end up with more points than Malkin this year and better in all cats. I am a huge Malkin supporter but I this league set up I take Burns.

Agree with praba....

Keep Burns, he is a top 3 D. Your team is loaded with hits, shots, and pims. Malkin always gets injured. Had him last year, traded him half way through the year for Perry+Backes and never looked back. Malkin will get injured.

Pretty high on Burns with your format, multi-format leagues like that he's arguably one of the top 5 guys - Malkin, especially with his injury history and inconsistencies is arguably outside of the top 20. The picks obviously attempt to compensate for that, but I don't think they bridge the gap quite enough. I would keep a tight tight grip on Burns.

If this was a points only format, I still think I might take Burns. In a multi-cat league, it is a no brainer. Burns, baby, Burns!

I'd stick with Burns, and would have no problem whatsoever going in the the 2 D keepers you have. Burns is probably a top 5 (maybe even top 3) player in your scoring format.

Yes that pick will be 120 ish player. Including rookies and all unkept players

Yea I just like the pick upgrades. That'd give me 8 top 40 picks. I get caught up in that as well as the malkin potential even though it's been like 7 years since he played a whole season I keep thinking this might be the one haha

That pick upgrade doesn't come close to making up the downgrade from Burns to Malkin if both are healthy in your format. And we know that Malkin's not exactly a model of good health.

Burns side for me as well. I think you definitely are over thinking the keep 2 D thing. With Karlsson and Burns, you have a big advantage over other GMs in your league. You keep the best players, regardless of position.

Burns, you have a really good thing going on with being able to lock in him and Karlsson.
