    I need your advice.

We are using poolexpert.com for our league and I was wondering what site are you using for yours?

We are looking to change our internet site.

What are the best options in your opinion?

    Thanks in advance!

I use Poolexert for my basic rules league (points only, limited roster moves) with personal friends. It's by far the most friendly user for a commish and it's not expensive. But you're restricted in the complexity of the rules you can use. And if you want to draft online or have people to pay via internet, not good. It's good for friends and simple leagues.

I use Fantrax for my dynasty leagues with minors. The rule settings options are far more powerfull then poolexpert, but if you need the premium league fee, that's 5 times more expensive then poolexpert. But you can easily draft online and do almost whatever you want. Still pretty easy to use.

I did not use the other sites, but from my readings Yahoo was the best for leagues without minors, and free or low cost, while Fantrax is by far the best for dynasty leagues with minors. You can also use Fantrax all Summer for your trades, draft, etc., I think it's not that easy with Yahoo. So dépends on your needs

I'd go with fantrax even if your league is basic .

it will allow your league more options to grow into something bigger and better down the road.

FanTrax is free for most basic settings.
I'd just create a simple league with one team in FanTrax and setup the scoring as you need.
If it works out, add the new teams after.
You don't need to pay until Nov if you do use a premium settings. This gives you time to try it out.
Like Butch said above, it'll allow your league to grow down the road. That's what ours did.

I completely disagree with this - I find CBS outstanding and Yahoo beyond horrible

Unfortunately I am a stubborn man and am involved in about 10-15 pools a year on Yahoo. I don';t want to have to go to different sites so I stick with it.

I have heard Fantrax is the best though......maybe someday

    FANTRAX - AINEC.

It is $80/year - but if your league is a pay site - split the $$ up and add it to the buy-in on the treasurer - and with 12 teams its $6.67.

I had a lot of skeptics when I made them switch last year to set up our keeper league.. They're all switching their other leagues over now a well. Might take a month or so to get comfortable with it, but it'll be worth the investment.

I like using fantrax. Only drawback is the video ads that keep playing while you are in the chat section. Don't know if that's just me but it happens to me everytime and is very annoying

So you think that Fantrax is the best. Great, Thanks for the info.

We are a league of 24 teams. Is it too big of a league for the site? How much does it cost approx.?

    Thanks again!

FT can easily handle it - with massive roster options as well.. make sure you've got TIME to go through the features in detail as well.. There are a tonne!

$79.99 is the premium league fee, which I use in 3 leagues and it's worth it!

If its a pay league, just add it to the buy in ie: $50 buy in - set your buy in to $53.34 and it'll deduct the $ to cover the cost & keep all fees.
