Jones, not even close. Arguments could be made I suppose, but on player value in a limited keeper you need to keep the asset with more perceived value. Most people think Rinne has begun his inexorable decline due to age, and Jones is a young buck with upside.

I'd say the decline started a while ago. He's only posted a Sv% above .910 twice in the last five years, and has seen a pretty significant injury in that span as well.Originally Posted by Doug Glatt
Jones for sure for me as well. The quality of their teams are about equal, but give me the younger player with stats that are improving as opposed to declining.

toss up - do you want a long term option (Jones) or are you in it to win it next season (Rinne)? BAsed on the volume of keepers you may struggle replacing Rinne in the future so I would probably go Jones here but it's close

i'd say even if you wanna win this year, go with jones. although sulla and I have already disagreed on jones' production this year in another thread already! I think he's starting at least 65 starts, and is gonna get 35+ wins easily.
